‘Help Japan’ Charity Effort Launched By Dreamscape Designer

One of Dreamscape Design’s Graphic Designers, Daniel Griffiths, has designed a fantastic charity poster to raise money for Japan.

The official death toll from the recent earthquake and tsunami has risen to more than 9,000, with 12,645 missing. The country has also suffered a further set-back since then – as the authorities struggle to cool the overheating reactors at Fukushima Daiichi’s nuclear power plant.

The country needs the support from the UK, with Daniel making a fantastic effort to help raise money in his spare time. The simple and effective design is entitled ‘Help Japan’ and features a clever use of the country’s white rectangular flag with a large red disk (representing the sun) in the center.

Daniel said: “After seeing a load of artists doing designs to raise money for Help Japan. I decided to do the same. I created a cute little vector Japanese sun with a nasty bump on his head.”

He continued: “This is getting made in to a A3 poster printed on 170 gsm gloss art paper that Dreamscape Design are selling them for £4 with all the proceeds going to the British Red Cross and their ‘Japan Tsunami Appeal’ to raise money for Japan.”
